A Tragic Dive Into The Deep, The Sinking Of The Bayesian

Wreckage of a sunken superyacht is kept under close guard, fearing it possibly harbors secret information onboard. The Italian prosecutors believe the yacht has to carry classified information regarding the various Western services of intelligence. A storm had caused the sinking with seven dead, among them British tech billionaire Mike Lynch. Divers begin scanning the interior for hard drives and have also begun ascertaining if the sinking was not an accident.

The wreckage of the $40 million superyacht that sank off Sicily in August, killing seven people, including British tech tycoon Mike Lynch, is being kept under close guard: Concerns have been raised that secret information may be stored on board.

The investigators of this tragedy are Italian prosecutors, who believe that the yacht contains highly classified information involving the different Western intelligence services.

Darktrace’s founder, Lynch, was involved with the British American, and many other intelligence services. It is said that this yacht belongs to his wife’s firm and houses super-encrypted hard drives storing classified pass codes and other secretive information.

Specialist divers have been excavating the rubble in an attempt to find these hard drives, whereas the local police have adopted strong security measures. Concerning the yacht, investigators say it will be recovered in the coming weeks in connection with the crimes under investigation.

Many of the victims probably drowned or drowned in what is known as “dry drowning,” where drowning occurs from the aspiration of water into the lungs when the yacht sank in the storm, according to preliminary autopsy results. The body of the chef was discovered outside the vessel and drowned, so his cause of death was drowning. Toxicology tests are pending. Survivors say Lynch always carried around data drives on the yacht, and the captain told investigators that Lynch had intended to cut the cruise short to get back to the UK early because his business partner was seriously ill.

Until now, personal effects have not been recovered from the vessel. However, the prosecutor’s office took hard drives and some surveillance cameras on board to figure out how the vessel sank. The vessel did not have the traditional black box.

The wreck will be inspected by scuba divers this week and recommendations for raising the vessel without spilling oil or fuel, as well as safeguarding any sensitive data will be made. The costs of raising the ship will fall to Lynch’s widow.
